PAPPU technology is built on a unique separable hybrid structure designed to support circular material recovery at end of life.

  • Lifecycle & Recovery: After extended operational use (a lifespan of more than 35 cycles), the pallet components can be separated.
    The high-density paper core can be returned to the paper recycling stream (to 100% pulp recycling), while the specialised coating may be recovered through appropriate end-of-life methods, including energy recovery pathways such as pyrolysis.

  • Proven Performance: Tests conducted by GreenGear Recycling Solutions prove that at the end of the PAPPU lifecycle,
    the coating can be separated without contamination from the 100% recyclable paper core, allowing both material types to enter their respective recycling or reuse processes.
    Simultaneously, a validated university study confirms that the use of PAPPU can achieve over 40% CO2 savings.
